1) Dans le cadre du festival LAKELIKE l’immense espace DISPO de Beat Cattaruzza présente jusqu’au 4 août une remarquable exposition d’artistes de la région. Une partie de l’espace est dédiée à notre art collectif coordonné COL-ART:

Im Juni 2019 realisierte Marc Kuhn – zusammen mit 25 Teilnehmerinnen und 25 Teilnehmern – eine grosse Col-Art-Leinwand innerhalb der „Robert Walser Schulture“ von Thomas Hirschhorn (Paris) auf dem Bahnhofplatz von Biel-Bienne.

2018 feiert COL-ART sein 50-jähriges Bestehen. Wir planen dementsprechende Events in der Schweiz in Deutschland, und in Mexico, wo im Frühling das Museum der grossen Stadt Cuernavaca uns die Tore öffnet, für eine Ausstellung und die Erstellung eines riesigen Gemeinschaftsbildes mit besten Künstlern der Region. Im Theater des Kunstvereins der Hauptstadt Teneriffas,, wo drei bedeutende Col-Art-Wandbilder den Raum schmücken, konnten wir bereits am 19. Dezember die reiche Geschichte unserer Kunstbewegung präsentieren (s. unten).

Unsere grosse Col-Art-Ausstellung im Kunstmuseum von Cd. Juarez (Stadt von 2 Millionen Einwohnern, an der Grenze zum texanischen EL PASO), geleitet von Rosa Elva Vazquez, hat mit grossem Erfolg begonnen und dauert noch an bis September 2017.




Marc Kuhn (Schweizer Maler und Schriftsteller, der 1968 in Zürich, Biel und Bern die internationale Kunstbewegung koordinierter Kollektivkunst COL-ART begründete) konnte Ende Juni 2017 mit 15 professionellen Kunstschaffenden der Region Juarez (die auf tolle Weise mitmachten!) ein neues grosses Col-Gemeinschaftsbild schaffen (Acryl auf Leinwand, 6 / 2 Meter). Teilnehmer sind: -Mario Romero Cruz, -Monica Requejo Garcia, -Jorge Perez, -Rosa Alonso, -Gabriel Gomez Mares, -David Zapien Lerma, -Baltasar Herrera Corder, -Ricardo Herrera, -Paul Velazquez Quinonez, -Vanessa Vargas, -Jane Terrazas, -Herminia Sandoval, -Yahir Silva, -Roman Silva, -Maria Guadapupe




Am Col-Art-Workshop, den Marc nach der Eröffnung der Ausstellung im Museum animierte, machten über 30 Erwachsene mit, die begeistert und stundenlang mit Malen kaum aufhören wollten. Die Resultate dieses „Malfestes“: Vielfältigste farbfreudige Gemeinschaftswerke !

Bereits will das nächste Museum in Mexico im März 2018 eine Col-Art-Ausstellung + Events beherbergen mit dem Motto: 50 JAHRE COL-ART ! Es ist das Museo de la Ciudad in Queretaro.

COL-ART
Koordinierte Kollektivkunst

10 Gründe, die COL-ART zu einer der vielversprechendsten Kunstbewegungen des 21.sten Jahrhunderts machen:

1) Col-Art ist DIE Kunstbewegung, die am meisten Idealen echter Demokratie entspricht.

2) Col-Gemeinschaftswerke haben in ihrer Komplexität eine Ausstrahlung, die kaum ein einzelner Künstler erzielen kann.

3) In keiner andern Kunstrichtung kommen so viele unterschiedlichste Künstlerpersönlichkeiten in einem Werk zusammen wie in solchen von Col-Art.

4) In diesem Zusammenspiel vielfältigster Stile widerspiegelt sich in Col-Art das, was wir im Zusammenkommen zahlreicher Kulturen etwa in der UNO oder der europäischen Union erleben. Im kleinen entspricht so die Zusammenarbeit bei Col-Art auch dem, was wir etwa in der Schweiz erleben mit ihren so diversen Kantonen und Regionen.

5) Obschon Col-Art bereits 1968 in der Schweiz und speziell in Zürich, Biel-Bienne und Bern ihre Anfänge erlebte, ist sie eine Kunstrichtung, die dem Geiste des 21.sten Jahrhunderts entspricht, mit seiner typi- schen weltweiten Kommunikation, etwa durch Medien wie Facebook, Twitter oder Skype.

6) Das wesentliche aller Kunst weltweit ist die beseelte Lebendigkeit, die bedeutende Realisierungen prägen, und die dadurch etwas zeitloses an sich haben. Und: ein typisches Merkmal zahlreicher Col-Art-Realisationen ist ihre starke Lebendigkeit und Beseeltheit.

7) Das Kooperieren bei Col-Art-Werken bereichert die teilnehmenden Kunstschaffenden und wirkt befruchtend und anregend auch für ihr eigenes individuelles Schaffen.

8) Das lockere Netzwerk, welches bei Col-Art durch die internationale Kooperation entstanden ist, beinhaltet auch ein weltweites Potential. Bis im Jahre 2015 haben rund 400 Kunstschaffende und 4’000 Laien aus über 40 Ländern an der Realisation hunderter von Col-Art-Bildern mitgewirkt.

9) Obschon die Col-Art-Bewegung bereits 2018 ihr 50-jähriges Bestehen feiern kann, steckt sie immer noch in den Kinderschuhen und wird so in den kommenden Jahrzehnten mit grosser Wahrscheinlichkeit eine bis anhin ungeahnte Dynamik entfalten können.

10) Es sind nur vergleichsweise geringe Mittel erforderlich, damit sich die Col-Art-Kunstbewegung in grossem Massstabe öffentlich erfolg- reich manifestieren kann, und wir sind jetzt erstmals dabei, solche finanziellen Hilfen auch zu suchen und anzufordern.

50 years of Col-Art in Berne, Murnau and Berlin…
In the largest gallery of Swiss capital BERNE – the Tramdepot- we could present the whole month of Juli 2018 best works of coordinated collective art – Col-Art- realized in the last fifty years ! The interest of the public has grown from day to day and at the finissage we had double as much visitors as on the vernissage… Also 12 new professional artists took part for he first time in new works of Col-Art, some of them well known. This show was a real success for our internatio- nal and now historic art-movement, attracting specially young people !
Also in the famous „night of art“ of MURNAU (little town, south of Munich in Germany, where the „blue rider“ of Kandinski & Franz Marc was born in 1911) we could welcome in only one day more than 120 visitors. The organiser of the art-night, Rupert Reggel, wants to make in 2019 a large feast of coordinated art in his town, presenting „10 years of international Col-Art in Murnau“… Great!
In BERLIN we are preparing an important presentation of „50 years of Col-Art“ in the „Projektraum Ventilator“, with vernissage the 7th and finissage the 14th of december 2018. Several friends in Berlin – like Janne Bender or Inox Kapell- are helping us to realize in that great city a forcefull event… Let’s hope the best !

Our COL-ART-movement will be in 2018 50 years old ! We prepare events for celebrations in Switzerland, in Germany and in Mexico the Museum of the large city of CUERNAVACA opens his doors for us in spring 2018. On Teneriffa, Spain, we had now a first prsentation of „50 YEARS COL-ART“ in the theatre of the Circulo de Bellas Artes in the capital St. Cruz, where we also realized two years ago three impressing murals of Col-Art with the participation of 48 painters.

Our large Col-Art-Exhibition in the sympathetic Museum of Art (directed by Rosa Elva Vazquez) of Cd Juarez, Mexico (city of 2 millions inhabitants, neighboring the exiting texan city of EL PASO) has started with considerable success and can be seen till the beginning of September 2017.

In december 2015 we could realize for the third time a Col-Art-Workshop in the famous museum TEA of St. Cruz de Tenerife, with not less than 70 participants !

Soon later – in january 2016- 49 professional artists created with us the largest three murals ever realized in the long history of Col-Art, this in the theatre of the „Circulo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife“, midst in the center of the capital St. Cruz. A first presentation of the murals found a remarkable success, not only by the public, but also in the local press and in the news of the canarian and the spanish television. The official opening of the renovated theatre with its impressioning murals will take place in april 2016.

42 artistas de diferentes estilos participan en el mayor mural del movimiento Col-Art que se ha realizado hasta la fecha, y que con 103 metros de extensión recrea su visión de la capital tinerfeña a partir de una foto aérea para elaborar una carta de amor a Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

La presidenta del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife, Dulce Xerach Pérez, utilizó esta expresión para definir el mural que se está realizando estos días y que será inaugurado en abril dentro del homenaje previsto a la primera directiva de esta institución cultural con motivo de su 90 aniversario.

Desde un Auditorio multicolor con una exhuberante bailarina carnavalera hasta el chicharro que simboliza la ciudad rodeado de medusas, barcos infantiles que navegan, sirenas mitológicas, las gaviotas que sobrevuelan la playa y el arbolado del parque García Sanabria hasta la cruz (pintada en rojo) de la plaza de España, cada rincón de la capital aparece reflejado en diferentes tendencias artísticas.

En la confección del mural, plasmado sobre las paredes del teatro del Círculo de Bellas Artes, participan desde estudiantes de Bellas Artes y Arquitectura hasta creadores consagrados como Fernando Álamo, Premio Canarias de Bellas Artes en 2014.

Además hay fragmentos del mural realizados por Hugo Pitti, Juan Pedro Ayala, Lola del Castillo, Domingo Vega e Idaira del Castillo, entre otros.

También participan en esta recreación artística de la capital tinerfeña los fundadores del movimiento Col-Art, el suizo Marc Kuhn y la mexicana Rossana Durán, que realizan su trabajo de forma itinerante y actualmente residen en Tenerife.

Precisamente Marc Kuhn consideró en la presentación de la obra que México es célebre por sus grandes murales pero la particularidad del que se elabora en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de la capital tinerfeña es su mezcla de estilos, desde el realista al surrealismo, la figuración o lo “naif”, mientras que Rossana Durán apostilló que concibe la obra “como una apertura de corazón entre México y Canarias”.

El Col-Art es un movimiento artístico nacido en Suiza en 1968 y promueve la colaboración artística, la realización de un trabajo conjunto en el que varios creadores comparten el soporte pero cada uno realiza su propia obra.

En este caso, una foto aérea de Santa Cruz ha servido de base para dividir las paredes del teatro del Círculo de Bellas Artes en cuadrados en blanco sobre los que “reinterpretar una ciudad soñada”.

Para Dulce Xerach Pérez, esta iniciativa representa además una muestra de que es posible “hacer grandes cosas con poco dinero” y expresó su deseo de que el mural se convierta en “una nueva atracción cultural y turística” para la ciudad.

Aunque la inauguración oficial está prevista para abril, los espectadores podrán contemplar la evolución creativa del mural a partir de hoy, cuando se podrá visitar el recinto, y la próxima semana las paredes estarán ya totalmente cubiertas con esta creación colectiva de 15 metros de largo por 3 de alto, más una franja de 13 por 0,50 metros.

Coordinated Collective Art

10 reasons, why COL-ART is one of the most promising Art-movementds of the 21st century:

1) Col-Art ist the art-movement, who mostly corresponds to ideals of a real democracy.

2) Col-Art-paintings with their strong complexity radiate in a way, a painter alone could possibly never realize.

3) In no other art-direction so different artistic personalities are coming together as in a work of Col-Art.

4) In its meeting of all kind of stiles Col-Art reflects a reality, corresponding to the gathering of many cultures within i.g. the United Nations, the European Union or a country like Switzland, with its so diverse cantons and regions.

5) Although Col-Art was already born in 1968 in Zurich, Biel-Bienne and Berne and will celebrate its fifty anniversary in 2018, it is an art-direction, who corresponds to the 21st century with its worldwide communication, as i.g. with Facebook, Youtube, Twitter or Skype…

6) The essence worldwide of art of all times is the strong liveliness important works emit. They are –so to speak- timeless. And: a typical characteristic of many Col-Art-works is their strong liveliness!

7) To cooperate in the realization of Col-Art-works is not only enriching the life of each participant, it also inspires him for his own individual creative realizations.

8) The informal network, which grows in the international cooperation of Col-Art, gives us the strong feeling, that the potential of that movement is worldwide. Till 2015 around 400 professionals and 4000 amateurs of more that 40 countries have contributed to hundreds of Col-Art-paintings.

9) It does not afford large ressources to bring the Col-Art-movement to large public manifestions, but it is the first time, that we are looking for important public and private financial support, in order to help this historic art-movement, to recieve the place in the international art-scene, it diserves.

10) It is not by accident, that Col-Art fascinates espacially the young generation of today, and so we are shure, that this art-direction is still in its childhood and will – in the next decades- display an unimagined dynamic !

In Queretaro , Mexico , nine persons have realized end of June 2014 a valuable new Col-Art-painting (1 / 2 m. ), animated & coordinated by mexican artist Cisco Jimenez.

Here some pictures of an important event, our movement Col-Art could realize in february 2014 in the museum of modern art TEA of St. Cruz de Tenerife. Not only we had a joyfull workshop there with many participants, chief-curator Isidro Hernandez offered us in more a Col-Art-exhibition in three halls and within ten days we had more than 1500 visitors and excellent response !
We could realize in the entrance of the museum a large “panorama of St.Cruz” (acrylic on canvas,  six meters long), concieved by Marc Kuhn, Switzerland, and with 50 participants, many of them well known painters of the island: -Emilio Machado, -Eilyn Perez & Leonardo Brais, -Edi Yanez, -Angel Padron, -Domingo Vega, -Tomas Gil Velazquez, -Alfonso Garcia, -Alfonso Delgado, -Conrado Diaz Ruiz, -Freya Jaen…., but also the cuban Ariam Lazaro Perez, the italien Luisa Agosti, the chinese Chi Zhang, the mexican Rossana Duran, Victoria Martin & Waldo Vinces from the United States and last but not least the great sculptor from Barcelona Manuel Clemente Ochoa.

Vorgesehen sind ein öffentlicher Einführungsabend in „45 Jahre Col-Art & Zweibrücken“ am FREITAG, 20. Sept.

Für den Col-Art-Workshop vom anschliessenden Wochenende können bis max.15 zahlende Teilnehmer berücksichtigt werden.
Der zweitägige Workshop kostet 50 €
Zeitplan: Samstag und Sonntag: 10:30 bis 13:00 Uhr und 15:00 bis 18:00 Uhr.
In der Mittagspause besteht die Möglichkeit in einer benachbarten Pizzeria oder einem Chinarestaurant zu essen.
Am Samstagsbend ist ein Umtrunk nach 18:00 Uhr geplant.

Die Teilnehmerliste wird ab sofort eröffnet.

Im Workshop bekommen Teilnehmer vertieften Einblick in Theorie und Praxis der internationalen Col-Art-Kunstbewegung. Es kann bei länderübergreifenden Projekten mitgewirkt werden, und es wird auch eine grosse Col-Art-Leinwand entstehen, an der alle Teilnehmer mitwirken können. Es ist eine Art kleines Col-Art-Fest, in dem sich jeder und jede frei nach Lust und Laune einbringen kann und im Rahmen dessen neue Freundschaften entstehen, resp. bestehende Freundschaften verstärkt werden.

Farben und Malmaterial werden gestellt (Acryl, Pinsel, Papier und gemeinsame Leinwand). Gerne dürfen Sie / dürft Ihr auch Ihr / Eure eigenen Materialien mitbringen.

The TEA has programmed a workshop, ”Arte-Col”, from Friday the 1st to Sunday the 3rd of March, given by artists Marc Kuhn and Rossana Durán. It begins on Friday at 16:00, continues on Saturday with two sessions, each lasting three hours, at 11:00 and 17:00, and finishes on Sunday with another three hours starting at 11:00.

”Arte-Col” is a movement of creative freedom, which aims to make artistic activity a means available for all. The activities of this international movement have been developed in museums, art academies and cultural centres of various kinds, in countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Mexico and Spain, and have been supported by lots of people from the world of culture. This group’s philosophy is precisely that of establishing an aesthetic dialogue between creators from different origins, enabling ideas to escape from the margins of the sole discourse so that they can spread out in different directions.

GIVING HER PERSONAL NOTE TO A COLLECTIVE WORK (march 2013)

In the history of nations there are distinct phases (and some of them are very old), in which the collective action was stronger than the individual, and this was also the case in art. Many of these rersults are today heritage of mankind.
This spiritual attitude, this way of creating and percieving art can also be observed in historical epochs
near of our time. Contemporary art has partly recuperated such proceedings and transformed them in specific ways, so that new forms of art have appeared.
We had the opportunity to contact such a stimulating movement, presented by the mexican painter Rossana Duran and her husbald, theoretician and painter Marc Kuhn from Switzerland, father of this art-direction, called COL-ART.
From the countries they came from, Switzerland and Mexico, and with important stages in Germany and other regions, they brought us to our island Tenerife opportunities, how collective art-works can be realized. Sometimes a canvas travels from one workshop to the other, and each painter realizes in his style a part of the whole work. It can also be, that Rossana and Marc offer publicly a canvas, on which each interested person can transform herself temporarily in an artist, giving her personal note to the sum total.
In both proceedings the result does not leave us indifferent, rather makes us observe attentively the joining together of the creativities. To make it possible, that such an artistic gathering ends in a per- suasive result, it probably needs the coordinating and indicating hand of Marc and Rossana…
